Antibiotic eye ointment
for  'pink eye, Apolo'  (conjunctivitis)

chlortetracycline eye ointments

These eye ointments can be useful for  'pink eye, Apolo'
caused by bacteria and for trachoma. For cpmplete
cure of trachoma, tetracycline shoold be taken by
mouth also .

But for it to function probably, it must be
put inside the eyelid, not outside., Use it 3 or 4
times a day.

Silver nitrate eye drops, 1 percent to protect eyes
of newborn babies

  At birth, put a drop of 1 percent silver nitrate
in each eye. This protects the baby's eye against
gonorrhea. All babies should receive this
protection.

NOTE: EXCESSIVE USE OF OINTMENTS CAN CAUSE GLAUCOMA
